Well, I have learnt that Paris is 8 hours behind Brisbane, and that the temperature is currently 60F. I can search the web, YouTube and more. I can sign up for Gmail, and check the news if I want.

Task 17 Google Maps & Google Docs

I have had fun with Google Maps, and visited places I have never actually been before. Iam now aware of Google Docs.

Task 15 what's in a Wiki

It was interesting to learn that Wiki means "quick" in Hawaiian. A wiki allows anyone the ability to take part in the creation and editing of web content. They are spaces for quick and easy collaborative work. At their best, they can become true community resources that can position the library as a an online hub of their local community.

Task 10 A thing about LibraryThing

LibraryThing is a free social cataloguing application that enables users to catalogue their favourite books, or the books they are currently reading for themselves, or to share with the world. I have had a look at LibraryThing and created an account. I have also added some great books to my catalogue.

I've had a look at other blogs and left comments on a couple. The unpossible librarian has a photo that appealed to the pirate in me!

I have been to Yahoo, and set up an account. I have had an explore in Flicker, interesting, but not something I would personally use.
